Reading Proverbs 31 is exhausting, I read about all the things this woman does and wonder how she manages to do all that, be all those things to all those people, have that energy, find all the time. At the same time I realise that the modern urge to be superwoman and to do everything is not so modern after all. And here I am in the 21st century on a journey with God and trying to find my way to being the Proverbs 31 woman.

Lent
I have been getting daily emails from the Diocese of Bristol with their forty voices daily reflections for Lent http://www.bristol.anglican.org/2013/forty-voices-daily-reflections-for-lent/ which have been helpful and thought-provoking in turn.
A daughter, sister, wife, aunty, friend, nurse. A Christian. Oh and my dogs are my babies:-)
I like to read, run, cycle, keep fit, travel, learn, sing, watch films, go to the theatre, visit places of interest, keep up with family and friends. I try to do lots of things but often forget to rest!
